Letterbox Love #1

Letterbox Love is a new meme hosted by Lynsey at Narratively Speaking for UK based book bloggers to showcase the book’s that they’ve received each week.

So recently I've been buying a lot of books lately so I thought I'd share them with you guys... =)
Brought
Of course I have to begin with City of Lost Souls (CoLS)  by Cassandra Clare, for those of you who haven’t heard of or read The Mortal Instruments series you must have been hiding under a rock. This much awaited prequel (can I call it a prequel if it’s the fifth book?) to City of Bones has had people on my twitter timeline buzzing for weeks.
I decided to refrain from reading CoLS until June as I am going on holiday and I wanted to have a gripping read with me to keep me entertained during the 8 hour flight. Temptation however is kicking in and I started the first chapter today =/.. I have the patience of a 2 year old. But to be honest how could I resist? Oh and the cover is amazing!

The second book I brought was The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin, whilst going through the reviews of fellow bloggers a majority had recommended this book… so when I saw it on the shelf at Waterstones I knew I just had to buy it! Hopefully once I’ve finished CoLS I’ll begin this book… I’m quite excited!
Ebook
Recently I read the Lorien Legacies by Pittacus Lore and I enjoyed the books so when I saw Nine’s legacy I thought ‘Why not?’

Finally I brought Meg Cabot’s Insatiable and Overbite, Meg Cabot is one of my favourite authors I just love the way she writes her books and her stories are usually really entertaining. When I read the excerpt of Insatiable I was quite surprised the book was about vampires, as Meg Cabot hasn’t written about vampires it’ll be interesting to see how she sets the plot in these books.
